Decorative Clothespins/Bagpins DIY

I’ve found over the past year that I NEVER have enough clips for bags of food like chips, rice, frozen veggies, etc. I remember growing up we used the left over clothespins from the line to clip stuff in the kitchen, but there was always a shortage. Soooo… I ordered a 50 pack of those wooden clothespins from amazon. Paid like 3 bucks. Booya.

Well hopefully by the time summer commences, we will have a clothes line up in the backyard. I’ve been thinking about the good ‘ol fashioned wooden clothespins, and how fun it would be to decorate them. If you do have a clothes line, it is just one more thing that will put a smile on your face when you use the sturdy clips to hang your fresh laundry. Or if you are like me and want everything in your kitchen to be cute, then get out these supplies and start creating!

This is a really simple craft to work on! The best part about painting them is that the paint dries super fast, so you don’t have to wait long to add other colors or a second coat. I think this might be one of my new favorite obsessions…. maybe I’ll come out with a fancy new collection of clothespins for my Etsy shop!
